Picture
The purpose of the support group is to encourage those who have taken a class, and want a supportive surrounding to keep on track,
There are groups who meet in different places all over the world.
If you want to bring your project and join us, we meet on Tuesday evenings at The Forks in Winnipeg! Contact us through the FaceBook page: Winnipeg Fingerweaving Support Group.
If you are traveling through Winnipeg on a Tuesday, and have time in the evening, you are welcome to drop in!

TheBraidSociety sponsors 'come and try' days. Check the 'events' page on the Braid Society's website.

There are sprang and finger weaving groups on Ravelry and Weavolution. As well you might check out several FaceBook groups under names such as 'sprang', 'sprang braiding', and 'sprang anonymous'.

Carol acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the traditional homeland of the Métis people. Carol also acknowledges that sprang is part of many  indigenous traditions  and found in various forms all over the world. Let us re-discover this technique together.
