This is the book, published by the Sint-Jorisgilde Gestel en Blaarthem, detailing some 47 sashes held by various "Schuttersgilden". Some of these sashes were restored by Coby Reijndeers-Baas, a Dutch sprang expert. Carol learned of this book from Coby when they met in 2013. The Sint-Jorisgilde has given permission to us to make the book available, with one condition: If you use the book and publish something about this, the Sint-Jorisgild wants a copy for their historical archive. You can contact me for this.

Carol acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the traditional homeland of the Métis people. Carol also acknowledges that sprang is part of many  indigenous traditions  and found in various forms all over the world. Let us re-discover this technique together.
