Carol James announces a new book of sprang lace patterns. This is Volume 2 of a set of five books dedicated to the extensive collection of sprang lace in the keeping of the Art and History Museum in Brussels, Belgium. 


This volume contains charts and instructions for a unique class of sprang lace patterns, patterns featuring the rope stitch. Motifs included in this volume feature designs we call the leaf, the brioche and the caterpillar. These are truly unique designs, having very little overlap with motifs in other books of sprang lace by Carol James.
