You want a warp of 12 loops in 3 colors, ten of a background color A, and two of contrasting colors B&C.

To help you to better understand the charts, Carol will take you through a chart-writing exercise. For this you will want to print up a page or two of the graph paper at the right. Have a pencil, eraser, and colored pencils on hand.

We explore a way to move one pair to the right, and at the same time another pair to the left. We will then explore a way to hide the contrasting colored threads at the back (the first step towards double cloth). |
