Into to Finger weaving

Hello! Welcome to the finger weaving class support webpage. Class will be held on zoom every Tuesday evening from March 22, to April 26 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM central time in North America. You will receive a zoom link by email the day before each class.

Week 1

The first steps:
 "friendship bracelet" and "scissor - pinch" ​

WEek 2

We look at some common mistakes.
We then begin to work our way through the different motifs: diagonal stripe, vertical stripes.
Now that you have the basic stitch, we learn to set up on your own around a chair.

Week 3

We look at some more common mistakes.
We also discuss pattern notation, before working through the sawtooth and lightning motifs.

Week 4

This week we work from the center-out, and outside-in. This yields the chevron motif

Week 5

We explore the arrow head motif

Week 6
